Starting to get bored with your blonde hair? It’s easy to grow tired of the same typical blonde shades. We have your quaint essential “Bunny Blonde” for all those blonde addicts out there, although it’s not the typical white blonde, it has a beautiful creamy mix of white and ivory blondes, a popular choice. If it’s sophistication you’re after, then “St Tropez Blonde” is perfect. This peaches and cream blend oozes style and class and looks fantastic with summer bronzed skin. For a classic Hollywood sparkle, you’ll want “LA Blonde” this sandy shade will warm up any light blonde tones in your own hair and give you an A list look. If you’re dark and thinking of trying a blonde shade but worried about the transformation, do it gradualy, a great starting point would be “Tanned Blonde” it’s somewhere between brown and blonde and provides a subtle glow. Headkandy Hair Extensions has been inundated with calls and requests for the beauty secrets of one Mrs Cheryl Cole. Everyday girls and women are asking how to get Cheryl Coles look. I can’t say I blame them, Cheryl is easily one of the most beautiful women in the world and her popularity has sky rocketed over the last year. This week Cheryl joined her fellow X Factor judges for the filming of the auditions. So before this hits our screens, I’m going to give you the Headkandy guide to Cheryl chic!

To get the same stunning depth and tone, go for Headkandy Hair Extensions shade “Melted Chocolate”. This is the typical Cheryl Cole colour, although she often changes her shade, it always comes back to the Melted Chocolate. Cheryl wears a full head, you will need a full head set of extensions, which is more than enough but for those of you with considerably thick hair that want to go for an extreme look, you can even add one or two single strips to your full head, although you really don’t need to.

For this look, you will need to opt for at least 16-18” hair extensions or even better the 20-22”, Cheryl Cole wears her hair extensions vey long and once she adds shape or curls too it, it takes some off the length so it’s best to go for the longer set. Before you start to fit your hair extensions, wash and blow dry your hair with a large round brush, the aim here is to get as much volume as you can so you might want to try a volumising product and be sure to use a heat protection spray. At the back of your parting back comb the hair and smooth over to create volume and shape in your own hair before adding the extensions.

It’s best to style your extensions before putting them in your hair. Cheryl Cole hair extensions are all about shape and bounce and an undefined curl. To achieve this, you can use a Jumbo Curling Tong (something you can also order at Headkandy). Wrap the hair around the barrel and roll all the way to the top of the weft, leave for a minute or so and delicately remove the hair from the tong but try not to unravel the curl right away. Do this to all the wefts before gently shaking out each curl then brush the curl out with a hair extension loop brush. Remember you’re not trying to get a curl, just to add a classic, bouncy shape. Spray with hairspray, just enough for a soft hold and you are ready to clip in your extensions.

Now that your hair and your hair extensions are ready you can begin to fit them. Be sure to back comb the roots of your own hair where you plan on clipping the extensions and spray with hairspray, this will not only make your clips more secure but will give the appearance of thick, full hair. Apply the full head and spray lightly with hairspray and perhaps even a little bit of shine spray. Wear as much of the hair in the front to show how full and glorious your hair is and don’t forget that this look is so fabulous, it MUST be worn with confidence!

Britney Spears and her hair extensions have recently kicked off her comeback tour "Circus" and the sexy ringmaster is back to her fiery best in this provocative display! Britney Spears who after a rocky few months is looking incredible. Her show stopping performances are accompanied by jaw dropping costumes that sparkle and dazzle and as ever raise a few eyebrows! Everybody’s talking about LADY GAGA, formerly known as Joanne Stefani Germonatta; Lady GaGa is an American Singer/Songwriter and musician becoming well known for her pop/electronica genre music. Lady GaGa not only writes and performs her own music but has also written hit songs for acts such as the Pussycat Dolls.

In 2008 Lady GaGa released her debut album “The Fame”. The release brought with it a distinctive sound well received by music fans and an accompanying look and style. GaGa is very in to fashion and claims that when she’s writing music she thinks about the clothes she wants to wear on stage. She’s all about pop performance art, and fashion and here at HeadKandy we’re loving her wildly kitsch fashion sense and stylish music videos. Lady GaGa says “I want the imagery to be so strong that fans will want to eat and taste and lick every part of us.”

Of course I can’t talk about GaGa without mentioning her immense hairstyle, that platinum blonde, poker straight bundle of hair and hair extensions that perfectly compliments her zany, retro image and attitude. Her uber blunt, thick fringe makes quite a statement and cannot be worn by anyone, it takes confidence and style, both of which GaGa has by the truckload. We say, keep your eyes on this raunchy provocative vixen, she isn’t afraid to push boundaries and could be a real trend setter!

There was an international party girl meeting this week in London at trendy Movida club as UK Glamour model and reality TV star Katie Price AKA Jordon bumped into world famous Heiress and ‘It’ girl Paris Hilton!

This was quite a meeting of minds, well of egos at least, and it seems the two quickly hit of off.  I can’t help but wonder though, what kind of conversations they might have had.  Surly hair extensions would have come in conversations or perhaps they discussed the perks of Reality TV? Jordan is still filming her TV show ‘Katie and Peter’ with husband Peter Andre, and Paris is in London to film her latest reality TV show ‘My New BBF’ (British Best Friend), which she would hope to be as popular as her previous show ‘The Simple Life’.

Maybe they discussed the Paparazzi, or did they exchange beauty secrets? Both girls are devout Hair Extension users and both looked fantastic. Paris wore a red flapper dress with an embellished neckline, her clip in hair extensions were curled into a classic shade which hinted at glamorous hair styles of the 1920’s.  Jordan wore a barely there black number and fishnets with her hair extensions styled straight. Paris normally wears her extensions in a very obvious in you face kind of way with extra length but at this event her hair extensions were much more subtly styled in contrast to Jordan’s full, straight and bouncy looking hair extensions. Could this be a friendship that will last and will Jordan be Paris Hiltons new British Best Friend?

Sexy songstress Christina Aguilera and her Bunny Blonde hair extensions have been out of the limelight for sometime now to concentrate on gorgeous Baby son Max. Just 10 months after the little darling was born, his yummy Mummy has proved she’s got no problems jumping back in to the spot light with style!  Christina made her hot comeback at the MTV VMA’s recently, and has now performed at the Africa Rising gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Twenty seven year old Christina Aguilera has shown fans and audiences that she has no intention of shedding her ‘Dirrty’ image, as she stunned the crowds with a raunchy stage performance that included a video clip of her seemingly naked simulating sex on a sun lounger. She wore several head turning outfits that showed off her new sexy slim figure and trade mark white blonde hair extensions.

Christina Aguilera has also recently done a sexy photo shoot that again confirms this girl is still as strong and confident in her sexuality, it’s nice to see that Christina isn’t shying away from this side of her just because she’s a mum. Christina’s new image is just as fantastic as the others, and she says that being a Mum inspired her new look, and that she thinks it’s sexy and mature but also that her son brings out the child in her.  Christina Aguilera looks great with her long, straight, platinum blonde hair and clip in hair extensions. She also has the trendy chunky fringe which is a nice change, Christina looks young, preppy, cool and classy and we love it!! 

The X factor live shows kicked off last week with audiences seeing what is probably the most talent packed line up there has ever been on the musical reality show. Cheryl Cole’s category is arguably the strongest; Cheryl bagged the under 25 girl’s category and has three potential winners amongst them. So apart from the amazing talent and great entertainment, this year’s show is also bringing some great looks and some immaculate hair!

As well as the style savvy panel of judges, we’re seeing some great make over’s and some really pretty hair on the stage with the humble contestants. Girl band ‘Bad Lashes’ who upon their first audition Louis likened to four hairdressers trying to be a girl band, which wasn’t too insulting or far from true because they do in fact have great hair. Unfortunately ‘Bad Lashes’ were first to be eliminated.

We can still see some impressive hair extensions on other acts like the Girl Band named ‘Girl Band’, and Fabulous Divas Alexandra and Laura. Week 3 should prove to be full of fantastic acts as we watch our favourite contestants return to the stage to fight for their place in the competition as well as a performance from Girls Aloud themselves!
