If
you are heading to a festival this summer then it’s vital to get the
right outfit and to choose the perfect look from on-trend festival
hairstyles. :) This is super important as you may have to go longer than
usual without your beloved styling tools and products! Here we have
compiled a few of the best styles to keep you hair looking every bit as
glam as the day it was styled!
French Braid
A
french braid is the perfect festival hairstyle for festival goers,
whichever festival you're attending! This style keeps your hair away
from your face and up off the back of your neck … which is perfect if
you're partying in the rain or sun! Not only does the style look elegant
and girly, but it has the added bonus of being a super practical
festival hairstyle! If you're attending an overnight festival be sure to
sleep with your braid still in, when you wake up in the morning remove
your elastic and unbraid this. You should be left with a gorgeous wave
throughout your hair which can smoothed just using your fingers; tying a
scarf around your hair or using a headband can give you a great second
day look that will leave your friends speechless!
Messy Bun
The
messy bun is one of our favourite festival hairstyles! As the look of
this isn’t too neat and over-styled, you can easily create this whilst
in a tent or in the middle of the field! As this is a versatile style
you can create your bun right up on the crown of your head, low down on
the nape of your neck or pulled to the side! All of these use the same
styling method of simply twisting your hair until it wraps around
itself, use an elastic to loosely hold the bun shape! We like to pop in
some hair extensions to make this bun super thick.
Boho Waves
If
you prefer to wear your hair down then this can be a little tricky
without restyling! We would always say that styling your hair before you
go is an absolute must and boho waves make a very easy style to keep
intact! Make sure that you add a little more product than you usually
would after you have created your waves as you can use a little water
the next day to reinvigorate and scrunch your waves back into shape! If
you do find the next day that you have some flatter sections you can
always add some braids to your hair for an extra boho feel.
