Celebrity Hair Styles at the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl has been making the headlines this week more for the celebrity hairstyles and outfit choices than the game being played! There were many spectacular performances throughout the night’s events all with very different styles and themes!

The show was started by Kelly Clarkson who opened with the National anthem. Kelly looked simply stunning in a figure hugging, fitted black dress. Kelly Clarkson's hair is known for changing as she has gone right from very dark to super blonde! Kelly appears to have had a more dominant blunt bang/fringe cut into her hair and her hair looked much longer and darker too! We much prefer Kelly’s hair a little darker and think this super sleek celebrity hair style looks gorgeous on her.

Katy Perry also made an appearance at the Superbowl; both watching and performing the newly single star looked to be having loads of fun! Keeping her celebrity style a little more outrageous than Kelly, Katy Perry choose an American football inspired ensemble even sporting mismatching shoes and socks! Her hair shade was still bright blue; Katy Perry's hair was dyed this way for her recent Adidas campaign, but this fitted in perfectly with her styling for the huge event! Katy Perry also wore her hair straight and sleek for her performance and we just love this bobbed cut on her.

The most talked about celebrity style of the night was Madonna’s halftime show. The show lasted for nearly 15 minutes with Madonna performing a back catalogue of her classics including Vogue, Music and Like A Prayer. The star pulled off one of the most outrageous outfits and themes of the night, arriving on stage wearing an enormous gold headpiece and outfit surrounded by loads of dancers wearing Egyptian warrior outfits!!

Madonna’s hair looked great in a gorgeous warm blonde shade and was styled into stunning curls. The curls were relaxed but defined and started very near the root. She wore these with a super straight centre parting. Using a conical wand will give a similar effect to Madonna’s celebrity hairstyle at the Super Bowl! Madonna was joined on stage by an array of acts including Cee-Lo Green and LMFAO and she ended the performance with her new single Give Me All Your Luvin’ featuring MIA and Nicki Mina;. Nicki Minaj and MIA joined her on stage to perform and came to the forefront of the dancers to perform alongside Madonna.
Nicki Minaj, who is never one to disappear into the background, came out with a super cute white bob with a blunt fringe and MIA had a crimped black bob! We love the look created with the dramatic shades and blunt cuts of their new celebrity hairstyles, but we’re pretty sure both styles were created with wigs!
